Good Vibes & Good Eats – The Foodies Club
With over 120 members and counting, the Cooking and Exploring Foods club is a BWB community staple. Members try new restaurants together, share recipes, go to local foodie events, and earlier this year they hosted a cooking class for the entire community. We all got together virtually to cook a traditional Haitian dish while listening to Kompa. It was a blast!
BWB Blerd Club – At The Intersection Of Black & Nerdy
According to Dictionary.com, a blerd is simply a Black nerd. In the Boston While Black Blerd Club, members connect about their shared interests in a wide variety of topics including anime, manga, and cinematic franchises like Marvel and DC Comics.
